Leadership Team

Osman has more than 30 years of working experience, especially in the Sales, Marketing and Trading domains, particularly in the chemicals and commodity product industry. Prior to joining Smart Tradzt, Osman works for Petronas where he held multiple leadership roles in numerous Sales and Marketing functions of Polymers, Specialties, Bulk chemicals, Fertilizers, Agricultural commodities and Industrial commodities such Coal,Iron ores,Palm Oil & products ,Animal Feed and Animal health products ,Timber ,Beans and Pulses covering local and international markets. As part of the Process and Systems Division, he led the pricing and commercial excellence journeys in PETRONAS chemicals Noted for strong leadership, team building, motivational training and coaching. he was the Discipline Resource Person for sub skill group of Technology and Product support for PETRONAS and was Head of the Fertilizer Technology Centre in Petronas Mitco. Before Petronas, Osman worked for Mitsui and Co. Ltd Kuala Lumpur branch in the Fertilizer,Chemicals and Plastics Department.

Osman received his B.Sc.Applied Biology from the Hatfield Polytechnic (Current University of Hertfordshire). He holds a Diploma and was also the best student in the Malaysian Plastic and Rubber Institute Malaysia Diploma in Plastic Technology 1992.
